How to take a picture of your screen (screen capture)

- Hold the Home button and press the Hold button once.  The screen will flash white and the picture will be saved in your Photos.  You can email them to get them off.

To move icons to different screens, press and hold on any icon.  They will all start to wiggle, now you can drag them and rearrange them.

To add bookmarks to your home page, when you are surfing and you want to bookmark a page, click the "+" icon and instead of just clicking Add Bookmark, click Add to Home Screen.  Rearrange as needed.

Check iTunes daily under the All Free Apps as they are updated frequently.

- Set brightness to halfway (it's pretty bright already)

- At night... either charge it, turn it off, or turn off wifi, sometimes it can get quite dead.

mobileME Tip - Contacts/Calendar Sync

0 Comment Published 1:20 PM in .mac , calendar , contacts , iphone , mobileME By Matthew Stephens

Welp, you have heard the news mobileMe.. not so hot.
As of right now everything in my mobileMe is up and running, but it did not come without glitches.
One sunny day coming home from work I wanted to call a friend. Slide to unlock, phone, contacts... GONE! VANISHED!
So today I want to share a tip I have shared in Apple Discussions which has helped at least 5 people. You know of the millions of mobileME users. Well, there were millions...
If you find your phone not syncing or syncing a few contacts or publishing only a fraction of your calendar events try this.

Delete your MobileMe (or .mac) account. (don't worry it will come back)

Add an account using MobileME settings. Set it all up.

Verify your Push setting is now on.

Restart your phone.
(No Photo of this one)

Open your contacts

And just wait for a few minutes. Not seconds, even if they appear, wait.

For several people this solved the problem of both the calendar and contacts. There is another trick you can do that is talked about at the end of this apple thread.

Note: You have to be sign up for mobileMe, use the push feature on your Mac/PC and iPhone in order for this post to be of any use.

As the dust settles...

Just wrote a post on MacNoob

"...Well, it looks like that the iPhone has landed and the dust is just settling. Many people waited in line for hours, some got in and out and were talking in minutes, and others got no iPhone at all..."

iPhone what?

I found this on MacRumors as someone's forum signature. This doesn't make sense (though I know what he's trying to say).

Last time I checked, there's no such thing as an iPhone 2G Nice try, but fail.

You obviously don't know what 3G is and/or means.
